Hello, I have a 24' Mallard Motor home and am having a issue with the battery charger. The model of the converter id 6345A Series 6300. What is happening is it won't charge the House battery while plugged into shore power. The 12 vlt. system seems to work fine with the shore power or the generator but no charge going to the battery. I have to use a portable charger to recharge. It has a new deep cycle house batt. How can I figure where the problem lies and if the inverter is bad, do I have to get a complete new unit or can I just replace a module or something. Thanks, Joe
Hi I had a problem like yours. Check the out put voltage to your batteries for the coach. It should be 13.0 volts dc to 14.6 volts dc out put. If no voltage look for a blown fuse. If you get a voltage reading like 6.0 volts, then the power converter is likely bad. I found my replacement at this web site with a low price and fast shipping.http://www.bestconverter.com/
Hope this helps.
