My generator used to run 2 RV airconditioners, now it will only run one. I measured output voltage, it is 113 volts no load. I measured the hz also and the confusing part is that the hz vary from 136 to 312. When I shut the generator down and use power from the house the same outlet measures 60 hz. What would cause the hz to be off that much? What should I be checking?
Hi I am trying to start my Kohler 7kw gen. It will run if I choke the carb. by hand it willrun for a while than it will quit. I d not have a load on the gen at this time, Do I need to have a load on it? It is out of a 1984 monoco motor home and is being used for a house gen. I used it from the motor home last year to run the house and I thought it would work without the motoe home. Lou
