Fifth wheel brakes Tim 3-16-08
My electric brake controler appears to work when not contected to the camper, the light comes on any way when the brakes are applied. As soon as I attach the camper the control and trailer brakes don't work. Any Ideas. Thanks

The wire are crossed, use a test light & note what pin is hot when you turn the LH flasher on, the RH, running light, the brake(with the controller adjusted to the middle the pin for the brake should be dimmed or be a different wire from the flashers).
& make sure the ground is making ground contact.
