I had no brakes on the highway today because I had to go under my 1991 pac arrow and release the brakes. Why did the brakes stay on?The Motorhome wouldn't move. Thanks Bill
I don't know your unit but the only reason a air brake system is suposed to do that is no air pressure. There are sevral possible faults starting with no supply from the compressor. Large Leak in system. Bad Pressure govonor. Bad dash valve. Bad relay valve. Bad quick release valve. Bad check valve not allowing air to move from tank to tank. Bad air system filter blocking flow. Bad Presure Protection valve. To diagnose check guage. If pressure slide under unit and open drain valves briefly until a tank with out pressure is found. If no problem found push dash valve and listen for leaks. If a leak comes out of relay valve it is probably a bad diaphram in the maxi pots. Use plyers to isolate the pots until the bad on is found. In general you need to find the big leak or blockage. Good Luck
I have a 2003 HE Endeavor and I just go it back from the shop and I believe when looking for a possilbe short in the turbo tuner the pull my air brake onto my exhaust and it melted the line/tube. It is a yellow tube with something parker and it is 1/4 od yada yada. I can no find where it is supose to go nor can I locate the piece it was connected to. Where is it supose to go if it is around the exhaust manifold
