I have a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan with Trailer Tow package.My hitch place says there is no info to put a brake control.Has anyone put a control on a Caravan
The 2008 is new too me to but it is just a custom wire job that this centre doesn't want to do. With modern cars it is more dificult to impossible with out the wiring diagram or instructions from the brake control manufacturer. See if one of your local Dodge dealers will takle it. Or if they will provide a wiring diagram of the brake light circuit. Thats the difcult part. Doing a new wire job like this takes quite a bit of resurch time, and be expecting to pay extra for that.

I have a 2008 Grand Caravan SXT and 4 of my friends have the same Van, all A/C's broke down, apparently the High Pressure hose is defective, the part is back order at the dealer and they cannot say when the new part will in!!!
HAs anyone experienced air conditioning problems with their 2008 Grand Caravan. I purchased mine in the fall and never tried the A/C until the Spring when I found out it didn't work. Dodge fixed it for free. Used it all summer, no problem! Now that Spring is here again my A/C is not working!

I have a 1998 Dodge Caravan, and since it has been extremely hot here in California in the past few days, and my air conditioning isn't working, I have noticed that the chime comes on for no reason as well. Ever find out what happened?
MY conditioning worked fine last summer, but when i went to use it this spring. Nothing. Will be brining it in soon for service. Only 11000 kms. :( Did they tell u what they did to repair the problem?
Thanks for this information. I just bought a pre-owned 2008 Grand Caravan SXT from a dealer. The AC was blowing hot air on the test drive, they said they would fix. I think they just re-charged AC system, as it worked fine last night on the way home. This morning, got in the car, no cold air!
Came across this thread in my search for resolution.
Does anyone know if the hose thing is a "known" issue if I were to call a Dodge dealership (vehicle was purchase from pre-owned lot on another Manuf. dealership).
I want dealer to repair and will cite these posts.
