M-400 Brake light switch Scott 7-26-07
I have a 1977 Dodge M-400 27' Pace Arrow. I am trying to locate the brake/stop light switch. I have looked in the usual places, under the dash by the brake pedal, and all around the master cylinder. I am installing and electronic trailer brake activator. Could this switch possibly be located further down 1 of the brake lines?
Thanks in advance!
Scott

Hey scott, i also have a 1977 Motorhome (Vogue) with the M-400 chasis. My application is probably different than yours, but my switch is located above the brake booster mounting box, on the frame rail, in the drivers side wheel well. It's quite obvious, which is making me think that yours maybe different. It's located near the pivot point of the pedal hardware, real close to the "ceiling" of the wheel well. I also have an original shop manual for that chasis. Most of the brake applications are after market or specific to the manufacturer of the coach body. So, not all M-400 may be the same.
