Older P30 rear brakes.. Cam Sweet 5-14-07
Hi all,

I have a 72 Chinook Class A on a P30 chassis. I don't believe that my rear brakes have been auto adjusting and need to take them apart. What is the correct procedure for tightening the axle housing stub nut? Is there a special socket?

Thanks,

Cam

Block the front wheels good, and jack up the rear and put on stands--put trans in neutral, use a brake spoon
just adjust till slight drag,Don't tighten --you might not be able to back them off.
