Just recently purchased a 1973 Travel Queen Coach on a Dodge chassis (in July of '07). Online, I found and purchased a 46-page booklet with lots of info (engine type and capacities, and general automotive and electrical info and care). I started out with no information at all. I have another chassis manual I am looking at for about 50 bucks...
Just recently found the Body Manufacturer's Plate, and the Chassis Plate with VIN and TON numbers readable.
The body is in good shape, and engine runs fairly well, but tranny has a pan gasket leak. Fuel pump gave out, but for me it's easily replaced. I'm happy with the coach overall, especially for it's age...
Hello Jay, I'm writing you from Wesley Chapel, Florida just north of Tampa, FL... "Enough about me".. The reson that I'm repling is because I'm tring to help my parents with a 77' Travel Queen that they have come to own.. They were helping a lady out for alittle with a place to park it and then she left it parked on their land and left.. To make this story short, the R.V. will not start.. I've replaced both the main Batteries, engine turns over strong no fire.. Replaced Coil, still no fire.. Found that in the space that the Ing. & Ass. 20amp. Fuse goes, keeps blowing them everytime I cycle key.. Also the Heater 20amp. fuse blows.. I'm a Toyota Tech. for "Wesley Chapel Toyota".. I have A.S.E.s' and also Toyota Factory training but without any Wiring Diagrams.. I'm just left hear scratching my head.. Looking into the hood of a 440c.i. Dodge motor.. Please if you would scan a copy of those areas and send them to me... I would forever be thankful to you..
