Hi,
This is a great site for information which I have just found. I hope some of you may help..
I own a 1997 P30 chassis with a steering
problem. Looking for information on a part called a Relay Arm. It is connected at one end to the drag link, the center of this arm looks like it is connected to the support on the driver side frame rail and the other end to what might be the center link...
Any info or questions will be appreciated..
Thank-you
Power steering problem.
I can turn steering wheel when it is in park as soon as I put in in any other gear I can not steer. My power steering pump sounds like it is not getting any fuild. I changed the hydroboost, the master cylinder, and the power steering pump, after changing the pump it worked for 50 miles than it would not steer again, any one else have this problem, appreciate any help
thank you Gus.
Go to: www.millsuply.com and use the Step Van link. I have basically rebuilt the steering on my '96 P30 chassis with their parts including the relay arm. They have excellent prices, quick delivery, and most of their parts are name brand stuff. You've gotta check it out. They also have brakes, switches, lenses, exhaust, cooling, you name it!
Give it a look!

In my book the relay arm is the center "drag link" old name
the connecting rod goes from the pitman rod to the relay arm.I have a 1998 and a 1984---they have the same parts--
rich in Va.
Thanks Mike, I will try that as well.
Have had pricing from Workhorse and it is around 250.00... Finding this local may be a tough.. I will give it a try though... Thanks for your reply!

Thanks for your reply.... Yes your right about the different names used to describe center\drag link part.... The relay arm is connected to the one end of it...
Finding the relay arm has been difficult..Found one North of Dayton and will be ordering in the next few day's ( GM ) dealer location.
Thanks again !
John
I have a P35/P3500 in a 1985 Southwind and am trying to find the same part.
I searched on that Mill Supply website and never saw that part on there.
It is some weird part connected in between the drag link and center link, on the drivers side. The little ball jint on it is really loose and I am afraid it could fail. And that would be BAD!
I have searched for HOURS for a few days and this sit eis the only mention I have found on this part.
Anybody have a good link to find this part, and maybe a picture of it?
