I HAVE A 66 GILLIG MODEL 743D-15 THAT IS EQUIPPED WITH A CLUTCH BRAKE. EVERY TIME I APPLY THE BRAKES THE REAR BRAKES LOCK UP. IS THERE ANY WAY TO DISABLE THE CLUTCH BRAKE?
The clutch brake is a tiny thing and if it applied going down the road it would just go up in a puff of smoke.
The things to check are, are the rear grease or oil seals leaking and contaminating the brakes? Air brakes could have a bad foot valve or relay valve. Good luck
