My problem on the P30 is not quit the same as the others on this forum. The braking system works fine for the front dics and rear drum but not the rear drum on the Tag Axsle. It is a 1997 Fleetwood with 46 K miles. All's well until this season. First time out in July the Tag Axsle brakes seized up overheated and smoking along the freeway. Cooled off and retuned to the shop 3 times like that with repaired pads shoes etc and last time the vacuum assisted controller replaced but failed again within 50 miles. Hoever it works fine on test drives and around town but once out on the trip Bang it locked-up again!? We are stumped !! Any suggestion are most welcome. Thanks. |
