One more idea it can be crud up in the master cyl. from a hose coming apart plugs up the return path.I think if you suck out old fluid from master cyl. then flush with new fluid after hose change you will be fine.Just check heat at hubs after short drive to see if its one wheel draging or all of them.On that older rig I would put on new hoses just for safety reasons.
