I have a problem with the p30 autopark brake. There apparently is a switch that is activated by the steering column when the tranny is put in drive or reverse the brake releases. However, my problem is only after driving for thirty minutes or more. I get to where I'm going but the autopark brake won't release for me to go in reverse. I can go forward. I ususally shut the motor off and wait 15 minutes for cool down, then it works. It's a real pain and I feel there must be some adjustment.
1994 32' Bounder w/454 Chevy - automatic parking brake won't disengage.
Disconnected the cable, using the manual parking brake, but transmission is rough going into gear.
