Brake Problem: Front Disc brakes will not release. Replaced calipers, and master cylinder, and still not releasing. Do not have manual for chases, or motor or brakes. Anyone having information or manual please contact me at my e-mail address.

I bought a 1974 superior motor home with a 440 dodge engine. I had a complete engine overhaul done by a shade tree mechanic. When I got the motor home back I had multiple problems; main electric short, temp. guage not hooked up., vacuum advance leaks, auto choke not hooked up, etc, etc. I need a manual on the motor home with a 440 dodged engine it so I can fix it myself. I thank you for any help in this area. I am willing to pay for the right kind of manual signed; James F. Barrett.

Don,

We just had the front passenger caliper lock up not three weeks ago. It took two mechanics and me a whole day to finally figure out that the rubber brake line from the caliber to the chasis had been crushed, and only let in enough fluid, under pressure, to work the brake, but then the fluid was stuck, keeping the caliper locked. It appeared that rust had formed on the latch that keep thes rubber line in place, and over the years, the rust had swelled and crushed the rubber hose, a very gradual problem. In any case, all you can do is work up from the caliper until you find the problem.

Don - I just bought a 1973 Superior 2500 28' motorhome. I would be interested in any information you might be able to share with me about yours.Where are you located? Have you had it very long? Have you had any particular problems with it? Any secrets that might be helpful to me since I really don't know much about this particular make and model. Thanks alot -- Ed Stebbins North Palm Beach FL
