My 1990 Pace Arrow on a P30 Chassis is blowing fuses on the stop lights and the turn signal lights. First the Stop/Hazard fuse burned out. Replaced it. Then the Turn Signal fuse burned out and the Stop/Hazard fuse appears to be on it's way to burning out again. Any ideas on what to check or ways to chase this problem down?
Have 1994 Fleetwood Coronado that blew running light fuse, turn signal fuse & hazard light fuse. Found problem with ground wire in passenger mirror running/turn signal light. Removed mirror & found green ground wire disconnected from light on mirror body. Re-attached & blew fuses again. Finally disconnected ground wire (as mirror is grounded to body of RV) and this resolved the problem. It seems some back feed voltage was occuring in the white ground wire from the chassis & this surge of power (when turn signal, running lights or hazards turned on) would blow the corresponding fuse. Hope this helps. Wires can be checked on interior of RV without removing mirror. There is a wiring harness for the remote mirror which should be left alone. The other 2 wires (black +) & (green -) are for the mirror running/turn signal light
