RECENTLY ACQUIRED A 76 MINIIE WINNIE, RECONDITIONED. HAVE HAD THE OIL CHANGED, TRNASMISSION, THERMOSTAT AND NEW SPARE TIRE, TOOK IT ON THE ROAD, DID NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITHIT UNTIL WE PARKED AND TURNED ENGINE OFF, WENT TO START MINNIE AND THE BRAKE LIGHT CAME ON, WAITED ABOUT 10 MINUTES AND THE MINNIE STARTED RIGHT UP. DOES ANYONE HAVE AN ANSWER TO THIS?
Check the brake fluid at the Master
Cylinder, under the hood. The sending unit for one of two brake warning lights is on the cap of the master cylinder. The other is for the emergency brake, under the dash.
Do I understand you correctly, that you attempted to start your vehicle, and when you turned the key, it didn't start but the brake light came on? Then 10 minutes later it started normally.
