Has anyone had any experience with the new model of Brake Buddy? The old Brake Buddy had bad reports, but supposedly they have fixed the problems. I have a Saturn sw2 and am looking for an auxilary braking unit that is easy to use and remove to another vehicle if I change tow cars.
I have the new Brake Buddy. I have not had any problems with it. It came with the alert and breakaway. I love the Brake Buddy because it is easy to set up and remove.
I got mine for a really good price too. Bought it from an RV dealer in Oregon named Porter's RV. It was 875.00 delivered. If you want their phone number it is 1-800-746-2366. I talked to a guy named Eric and he had one out to me the next day.
From what I have heard the new system is really reliable, and I haven't had any problems.
