I replaced brake booter about 3 months ago and drove it about 3000 miles. Today I tried to drive my RV, suddenly when I turn the steering wheel (left or right) it pulled the brake pedal down, the rig brake is so hard it could not move. I replaced the power steering pump, it still has the same problem. Any ideas would be appreciated.
"I replaced brake booter about 3 months ago " Was this a Rebuilt Hydra Boost? If so, I think I would look into it being Defective. "the rig brake " does "rig" mean "right"?== right front, right rear, right side? did you try opening the bleeder at the brake caliber, DON'T pump it, let it bleed by Gravity. Just open it up, get a good steady drip, than close it, that will bleed any air out, and relieve any pressure allowing the wheel to turn."BE SURE TO PUMP THE BRAKES A COUPLE TIMES TO GET NORMAL BRAKE PEDAL BACK AFTER BLEEDING, BEFORE MOVING VEHICLE ONE INCH. ->PUMP BRAKES VERY IMPORTANT" YOU WILL HAVE NO BRAKES, UNLESS YOU PUMP THEM BACK UP AFTER BLEEDING THEM. I still think the Hydra Boost is defective. By the way, did you read by post" A red necks guide to perfect spelling" HaHaHa.I couldn't have this much fun without it.
