I've come across a trailer that has mobile home axles with brakes that are not connected. It appears most electric brakes seem to have one wire that triggers it, but there are four wires coming out of each hub. I have not yet opened it up to see what's there. I am curious if there somewhere or someone online that could brief me on what I'm preparing to tackle?
Pull the drum---made just like any other drum brake---except--Trailer Brakes have a magnet coil that operates the brakes- using it Still would require a brake Prodogy type controller-(mobile home) repair places can get you parts---might want to look at (dexter.com) website they make them--
