The Auto Park light came on while I was driving a few days ago. Continued on my trip back home another 150 miles without incident but the light remained on. The RV would start without problem but would roll on a slight grade when in Park (but it did that before). My RV mechanic says it is a drive train problem (without even seeing the vehicle). Any suggestions?
Hello Michael since it's a 96 ---the light tells you fluid or the pressure is low.the light switch has it's own switch---the pressure-switch is the Green one---pn 15091566 (IF LEAKING)be careful changing it---NOT to remove the fitting it's in---
check the oil(dextron) only---
but you probably have ruined the shoes-
they are adjustable -Just like any drum brake shoes--EXCEPT-that the system is what releases them out to the drum-auto-park when out of park and key on---releases the brake shoes.via the pump-and a pressure control holding solenoid,
rich---in Va.
After our own endless frustration with the P-30 Autopark system, we have developed a Retro Fit Kit that address the most serious problems and provide feedback to troubleshoot the system when it does go bad. You can find out all about it at: http:\\autoparkfix.com
