P30 Hydroboost brakes Fred 7-20-09
I have a 93 Holiday Rambler on a P30 with the hydroboost brake system. I am running through power steering fluid like crazy. Brakes work pretty good, but require pumping and fluid seems to be leaking somewhere, not sure where to start.

Is it the master cylinder, the hydroboost, the power steering pump, or what...

Any tips are appreciated.

The hydraulic system will leak most when under pressure, so get someone to step on the brakes with the engine running and turn the steering wheel. if it leaking much it will show up as a puddel. If that is not viable you need to get a good bright flashlight and strt looking for liquid drips and a clean trail through the muck. At the top of the clean trail through the muck is where its leaking. The oil will keep a clean trail rinsed through the mess that accumulates around an oil leak. Be ready to crawl around and get dirty because the only way to trace back is from underneath. If somebody want's to steam your engine to find a leak it does get expensive as once all the evedence is washed away you then wait for fresh oil. Very time consuming. Good Luck
