I have read many of the posts about the brake problem. I resolved this problem once and for all in my 1998 Triple E 3201. I salvaged a manual parking brake from a old chev truck which I mounted beside the drivers seat. I unhooked the cable from the hydraulic controler and rerooted it through the floor and connected it to the manual brake handle. The cable was the right length and the end connected perfectly to the handle. It meant drilling a hole in the floor but felt was a small issue. For safety I installed a red light that comes on when put in park as a reminder to set the brake. Problem solved.
