We have a 72 superior and are haveing problems with our brakes, we can go forward but dont have any breaking power, and they lock up when we try to go in reverse...any ideas or info you can send? please contact me back ASAP Thank you
Dax, I had a similar problem when I bought my Superior some 12 years ago. Mine is a Dodge but brakes are similar. What I found was that the rear adjuster on the passenger side had fallen apart and would bind one shoe in reverse. The drivers side was adjusted ( not adjusted!) fully in so the brake shoes had a long way to move to do any braking. For me it turned out to be an easy fix once I understood the floating axle mechanism.
Even the Dodge manual wasn't clear on dissasembly.
