4L60E acting goofy by Jeff
Post New Message Hello. i have a 1994 c/k1500 with a 4L60E trans. Once in awhile, it feels like the trans downshifts into low as there is a noticable "bump". This only happens while at at stop sign or light, etc. I have also noticed a "bump" when stopping or starting from a stop. I talked to several GM mechanics and no one seems to know why this happens. I have replaced engine, trans and suspension mounts with polyeurathane(?), cleaned and greased the slip yoke, new u-joints, pretty much everything and it still does this "bump". any suggestions? Thanks!
