I've got an 84 Pace Arrow with a Chevy 454 and the clutches burned up on it last summer. It's been stationary since August with the occasional crank and idle. I'm getting ready to either rebuild or replace the transmission with a re-manufactured one. I'm not sure what transmission it has now (someone told me a 500) all I know is that it didn't have an overdrive. Would it be possible to install an upgraded transmission like a turbo transmission or one with overdrive? Would a overdrive for a 36' rig even work? |
