I have a 98 silverado 5.7 w/ 4l60e i just put a new flex plate "had broken teeth" in my truck and and toped off the tranny my truck drives good in "drive" however after about 40mph it will not shift in to 3rd or 4rth it acts as though it is in "N" my truck has always shifted perfect up until now
I have a 93 GMC 2500 truck to which does the same thing that I haven't figture out yet,but since your is new then mine you may a a shifting solenoid
that shifts from 3-4 or 2-3 and then 3-4 I am searching to see if my 4L80E
tranny does have this too but haven't found any thing out yet.
But you will have to drop the pan to
change them out though just as I have done on the 1-2 & 2-3 plus the TCC one
I am trying to find out if the last large one is a 3-4 or what is its purpose. This is all I can offer you in help
Someone please figure this out same problem w/ 94 gmc suburban.250,000 miles and this.i am poor cant aford mech. please please help.thanks.will drop pan tomorrow and see if i can figure out something,i will post any positive results..
