I have a 1998 gmc (C6500) truck. the problem is the shift points of the automatic transmission have a mind of there own lately. There is no slippage at all, only erratic shifting. the truck runs fine with plenty of power, but when going from a complete stop, the engine over revs until it finally shifts and then when it gets to the point of going to third gear it will jump back and forth eratically until you let up, then will stay in if you feather the pedal. the vacuum modual was replaced due to it being full of transmission fluid. this did not help. vacuum seems fine. any ideas? |
