Post New Message It sounds like a related problem, the computor should be setting a code, getting it scaned may tell you where to look. My guess is the output speed sensor is bad (I forget what chev calls it) orr the wiring in between. A while ago chev also had an item they called a Drak(I think). it took the sensor input for the speedo and split it to trans computor, engine computor, cruise control and speedo. The symptoms you have sugest that no speed signal to anything. So the drak could be bad, but this is rare. More likely sensor or wireing wiring gets more likly the more miles on the unit. Good Luck
