Whining turbo hydra matic 4 speed glenn 6-23-07
I just took my "new" 2003 for our maiden voyage on some mountain highways. After the transmission got hot, we began to hear a moderate pitch whine in drive 1 and drive 2--not in second. At first, it was loud but the volume seemed to reduce somewhat the further we drove. The whine was only in the 40 to 60 mph range.
Can anyone provide me with your experiences with this issue?(The tranny tag is yellow. It reads "Turbo Hydra Matic, WJP, 062210"). Thanks for your help. Glenn
