I have a 1993 Euro Premier built on a Spartan chassis with Cummins 5.9 and Allison 6 sped trans. When I hit a bump the transmission shifts down a gear. Have had it checked out at a Freightliner shop. They agree there is a problem but can't find the source.
There could be a bad electrical connection or vaccumm hose that might have a crack in it causing this problem. Let us know what you find that is the cause.

spartan chassis have a common problem with the throttle position sensor linkage at the fuel pump wearing out and dropping below the minimum percentage and causing a failure code also power and gounds to the ecu are common problems and a loose speed sensor tone wheel could cause eratic shifting
