I bought a 1992 gmc and after I got it it was shifting at high rpms. After about a month it wouldnt shift at all. I think it only has 2nd and reverse.
It doesnt matter if you have it in 123D or OD, its in the same gear, I think 2nd and it wont shift. Reverse works fine though. Any idea on whats wrong with it?
This sounds familiar,check the valvebody,behind the manual valve theres a plastic plug that cracks or breaks.i suggest a mechanic expierenced with your trans,theres a lot invalved with this type of repair.
