1992 4L80E no 2nd or reverse Michael 2-15-09  
A freind has a 92 chevy with a 6.5L diesel and he has no 2nd gear or reverse. Does anyone know what would cause this?

The splines are riped out of a drum you loose reverse and 2nd.
