I have a 1998 chevy 3500 bucket truck with a 6.5 turbo diesel. The truck has been kicking out of overdrive after about 20 minutes of running time. Then it shifts hard in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. When it sets for about 20 minutes....It shifts fine, then about 20 minutes, it kicks out of overdrive again. any suggestions???

Bad 2-3 solenoid, Bad TCC solenoid, Wire harness at TCU connector on drivers side of tranny when you unplug it got fluid in it replace internal harness. Check fluid temp if its over 270 deg F the trans will go into safe mode and shift out of OD check cooler for outside stoppage or flush internal part out
