We have a 71 eagle that needs new walls and ceiling in it and we don't know where to start. Should we take the old laminate off the walls and install paneling and the same with the ceiling should we take down the old laminate and install new laminate? If so where can I buy such items? We live in Huntsville, AL

I have a 1989 city Transit Bus. I am located in kansas City. I use this bus for driving my kids baseball and hockey teams around to tornaments and things out of town. The doors on this thing do not seal at all, thay are air operated, and they come no wheres near sealing, and make lots of noise going down the road, and have a bad draft. i am working on lots of things on this bus, but wish i could find someone to put a different kind of door in the front and rear of this bus. Does anyone know who may do that kind of work, that is near to Kansas City. Thanks so much.
Does the bus have the original paneling now? If so, it would depend on the direction you are going with your conversion. If you plan to keep using the 'factory' heating and/or AC, you will need to remember that the vented metal along the bottom of the window line is where the air comes out, in addition to the ridge along the floor. Once you start tearing out the factory paneling, you will need to deal with the gap you create. Another option is to leave the walls in place and add new panels over them. If you make them the approx. height, you vents will stay clear.
As far as the headliner, I'm in the same boat. If I find the answer, I will let you know.
I am trying to figure out how to take out the old flooring of my bus. It is rotting and sags a bit. The bus is a 1984 Econoline E-340 ( a one ton truck with a bus body placed on top of it). We've pulled out the rotty carpets, but the plywood flooring has a fiberglass glue around the edges to the wall. How should I proceed? I want the floor to be very sound so that I can bolt in some new seats in the front...
