I recently ran across a 1980 RTS II and a 1980 Flex.
Both were city busses with 8V71 and allison automatics.
Both are 35 footers. The RTS has over 500K miles and
the flex has around 250K miles on it.
Tires on both were replaced with scrap when they were
removed from service. They both show signs of 20 years
of use but they are priced right at $2500.
