1977 Bluebird Bus -- 48,000 miles on Vortec engine Steve & Betty Simmonds 1-3-06
We own a 40 foot 1977 Blue Bird Diesel Puller with a Vortec Engine -- 48,000 mechanically sound. Body and chassis is sound. Tires are in good condition.
The history of bus is totally Florida, was as a medical clinic for a county in Florida. It had 2 new batteries and a near-new generator on it when we purchased in 2003. We took the bus and converted it to an RV. We have put a bit over 5,000 miles on it since. The bus now houses a full kitchen (new refig., new microwave + 3-burner stove & exhaust with storage, a 2-man diner, 4 adult twin beds built in, room for water (31" x 39") + linen closet. The back
10' x 8' feet of the bus has a door
and is used for storage. There are two roof-mounted A/C units (the back one may be damaged) and a factory-installed heated that will run you out.
We need a toilet.
We will sell or consider trade.

We need water and more head room...diesel pusher. We will consider a shell or partial conversion. We are in SW Florida.
