I have purchased a used 96 GMC with a vortec 7400. Looking for the torque curve for same. Know it produces more than the pre-vortec 454, but at a lot higher RPM. 3200 vs 1600.. Is there an internet site, where I can dwnld a HP/Torque graph? Thanks
A friend is attempting to remove a head on a 1996 Vortec 7400 engine - without success. We think maybe there is a bolt somewhere he can't see. Anybody have the head removal procedure for this engine?
