My 04 has been steadily taking longer to get up on it's air suspension. now it won't at all. Some air at the wet tank, negligible air at the main tank - not enough to trigger engine stop. limited amount of air coming out of compressor governor air release after engine is stopped.
Any suggestions as to the problem? is there some way to isolate segments to track down an air leak?
Sounds like the gov {regulator}on the compressor is shot ,, or maybe the whole compressor just needs a rebuild.
I can 2nd that. My crown i drive at work wouldnt turn off cause of the messed up air and after the new air compressor(they just went & replaced the whole thing!) it's never had a problem.
Carbon build-up in the line from the compressor to the air tank can also cause this problem, I have seen a couple of cases where it would not build any pressure due to the carbon.
