Depend on rear end ratio, but you got a nice setup, 8.2 is an economical engine, short, easy to turn in town. If you turning 2000 RPM at 65-70mph you should get 10-12 and have plenty power to clim heavy grade.

The bus is a 31' intersity with a 8.2 T.C Detroit 205HP, DP, Allison MT 643. Any info on what kind of milage I can expect or what kind of power it will have will be much appreciated.
I HAD A 37 FT. HAWKINS THAT HAD AN 8.2 IN IT AND IT WAS A PRETTY GOOD MOTOR BUT THE COACH WAS A PIECE OF JUNK FUEL MILEAGE WASN'TO BAD I GOT ALWAYS GOT 9 AND BEST WAS 13 GOING TO MINNESOTA
