Bathroom tiles are in excellent condition but i want to paint them black. i found that tub and tile product would work great but they can only add a pastel colorant to mixture. i MUST paint tiles black. how do i do this exactly and what do i need to do the job?

I want to paint my bathroom and kitchen tile a pale colour at the moment they are with designs and very dark colours. i would also like to know what i can do about the dark plastic cornering and edging which has beeen put around the edge of my kitchen tiles. Both lots of tiles are in excellent condition but i'm afraid i could ruin them completely.
In response to your question about painting tiles. I too really need to paint over my existing teal colored tiles! I was told that I need to use a good primer before applying the actual paint to the tiles. I'm currently researching this via the internet because my concern is that the paint may peel off.
