MCI Does not have a frame. The sidewalls are a truss that runs from the front all the way to the back. If you remove a part of it the bus will collapse..
Just returned from Sydney and saw a MCI 7 series that had a roof lift of 9 inches.It was sold and the nutter cut all that off to the floor they drove it around to a workshop entilely bare... it survived and now has a new frame with a staircase inside for a deck with pot plants for drinkies at sunset...some mothers do have them...nuters that is (-:
What i saw with the 7 with the entire upper sections missing impressed me,maybe the strength is the baggage floor and the centre tunnel maybe someone from MCI could tell why it didn't break?
