I am part of a historical transportation group who used to have Twin Coaches in the 40's. We are interested in getting one to restore and operate (so we would like one that hasn't been converted to RV). The particular kind they used to have was the 34 and 38 S, as well as a Fageoliner or FL (I think). If anyone knows where to get these your help is appreciated! Thanks
I have two Fageol Twin Coach Buses. One is still pretty much original and the other one has been converted to a motorhome. If you want to restore one, it would take both of them to do it right. Buy them both for $3,000.00. Tow bar comes with them and can be pulled by a 1/2 truck.
You can come "high grade" the parts and leave the rest and I will dispose of what you don't want but you will still pay the 3 grand. I have lots of pictures and history since new.
I also make reproduction parts. Check my web site at www.NostalgicReflections.com
I have a 1947 35 foot twin coach, the engine ran quite well! Hasn't been started in 10+ years! location Everett, Wash. will take any reasonable offer!!
I work for a trucking company, in the body shop. I now have the task of restoring a 1950 45-S. I have no assembly book or guide to take it from an updated bus that last ran in '74 back to original 1950. Plus I'm taking an Omaha bus and making it a Chicago bus. All I know is the color is differant. Fortunantly, I only have to do the front cab section as it will be a functional wall display. There are other buses in the salvage yard, is this my best chance for parts or does somebody sell parts or a manual.
A friend has a 1974 twin coach motor home, he has a turn signal problem and we can't locate the fuse box or the turn signal flasher. Was hoping you could tell me where they hid that stuff.FYI this coach is a 32' it had a 440 Dodge originally, then was converted to a GMC diesel,at the same time they did a complete remodel of the interior, microwave and new fridge and all.
Thanks for taking the time reading this e/mail
Best Regards

I can't find the fuse box on a 1974 twin coach, and was hoping you might be able to help out. From what I understand, the Fageol co quit taking orders in 1969 or 70, only building rigs that were order. This coach must be one of the last on the line, it origionally had a 440 dodge, then converted to a a GMC diesel, and also a complete galley upgrade.
Another problem is one of the front air bags isn't holding air, would there be replacement air bags anywhere?
Thanks for reading this and any info you might have.
Dave
Just wondering if anyone was still looking for a Fageol engine? I have a 8 cyl. pancake diesel... Came out of a 57 HPO model # 680-352-2 serial # 491 Date 3-22-57 on the engine tag. If you are not then know anyone who might be? I'm in Oregon and trying to sell it because my mother is planning to sell the property. Resonable offers accepted. My email is ( edbutchas@yahoo.com )
Anybody body know how many miles per gallon a 1950 twin coach (6 cylinder gas powered) is supposed to get? Also I wonder what a 1950 twin coach motor home conversion might be worth. Please e-mail me at tomk6179@yahoo.com.
Hi we own a 71 Cortez-Twin Coach with a 413 Chrysler HD V8. Our fuse box is located in the bedroom (rear hatch over the engine compartment). Hope this helps. Tony
