I have a 12' camper, and am looking for an extension to my bumper so I can tow my 21' boat. I have seen a extension bumper, that slides in when not hauling the camper, but can not find any source for buying them. The one I'm trying to find is an after market one, I think the mgf. was Steelhead. It was not something made by a local welding shop. It was rated at Class V. Does anyone know of a source for such an item?? I do not want an extention bar for a reciever hitch
Henry, the steelhead bumper was made by Iron Image Fabrication Inc., 4120 McDougal Ln., Eugene, OR 97402 541-689-3202. The bad news is I can not get in touch with them. Someone told me there is a high libility insurance required to make them. If you find someone making them please let me know. I need one also.
