Have any of you had experience installing ceramic tile floors in your bus? I really want to do it, but am concerned about the vibration and flex. What about installing it with some kind of latex or silicone? Any and all suggestions would be greaatly appreciated!!!
Thanks a lot in advance.

Is there a refinish for ceramic tile?...this tile is in a house built in 1957, tile is scratched, and worn, but not broken. Could you use the same refinish that you use on bathtubs/sinks? Please help?......will be very costly to replace. It's on walls, floor, baseboards in 2 joining bathrooms. Walls are ok. Floor/baseboards are the worst.
The floor must be covered with a layer of one-half inch thick cement board. This board is glued down with plenty of construction adhesive and screws. I use galv. decking screws one and onehalf inches long. One screw every six inches both ways. This give you a good base for the tile. Next, mix the Flex-set tile adhesive according to directions on the bag.{Flex-set is more crack resistant than regular thin-set}.after tile is set, use a flex type grout. You will get good results. For walls, use one-quarter inch thick hardy-backer board, glue and screw same as floor. Same flex-set and grout. I did mine 5 years ago with no problems.
I have a mobile home with plywood flooring,i put down 1/4 hardiboard with screws every 6 to 8 inches will that work for my ceramic tile and if i use flexible grout will i have any problems.about 260 sq. feet of tile.
