I had an early Clark. I was a stick-shift slant 6 Chysler. Clark used their own transmission out of the fork-lift. No very smoth. Lot of noice and shaking at heigh speed (60MPH). It was not bad inside and very strong built. There used to be one sitting out west by my house, but it maybe gone. I can check into it for you.
