Fan won't shut off hydro flame pat 3-5-08
I have a hydro flame 8930 furnace. I shut the park model trailer down for the season. Propane off, T-stat right down and fan switch on T-stat to the off position. I got a call the other day that my furnace fan was running. The only way the person could get it to stop was to turn the breaker off. I'm heading up to the trailer in a couple weeks - does it sound like a t-stat problem or a circiut board? Will a residential two wire T-stat work on it? Thanks Pat

My reply is not specific to your furnace so it might be different but all the t-stat is is a switch that is closed (so the circuit is closed and power is going to it) when it is cold enough for the switch to sense the temp change.
So, I would assume it could be the t-stat or the wiring to the t-stat is shorted together. that is where I would start. I do not know the answers to the other questions you posted.

But...you keep power going to the unit when it is off for the season? I used to remove my battery and unplug it when I would not be around for a while. If you have power there and a mouse gets in, it could eat a wire, short it and you could have other problems (fire?) without you having any idea? I would cut all the power and remove the rv battery for the season, then this (or other things cannot happen.) When you go to it for the season, pre-charge the battery, install, and hook it up to power. The battery will last longer this way too.

Just my 2 cents. I hope I have helped.
