I have a functioning 3 unit AC 620315 system in my bus conversion which is controlled by one 4 button 3106463.007 Comfort Control Center, which will control 4 zones.
I wish to add a 4th AC unit.
Is it possible to obtain a new or rebuilt control board which I could install into a new 620526 or 600315 AC unit so that it could be controlled as a 4th zone of my system?
Thanks.
New Penguins have a control board that is only compatible with a 5 button thermostat. You can install a button thermostat for that air conditioner only or you can change the control board to a 4 button style. The boards are the same size and you would need to link #3 air to #4 air with a telephone cable with parallel connectors. I can supply a rebuilt 4 button board. Let me know. Wylo
I am told that the 600315 is 13,500 btu/h A/C only unit without any board. Expecting that it is designed to work with a mechanical thermostat, I suppose it has at least a board with relays for the fan blower and compressor.
I was also told that 620526 is 15,000 btu/h A/C only unit with the digital control board for use with the 5 button comfort control center.
Which of these two would best accomodate being retrofitted with the rebuilt board?
How much for the rebuilt 4 button board and how would I get one?
Do you also repair or rebuild the 4 button Comfort Control Centers? How much and do you need my old one?
Seeing that I would still have to buy a matching cover so my 4 A/Cs resemble one another, is there any such thing as a rebuilt 620315? or even a non working one, which I could switch the guts of a new unit with?
Thanks
