I have a bad blower motor. I have it down to removing the small wheel. I removed the set screw, worked the wheel holding the smaller wheel..nothing.. tried almost everything. removed the set screw. whacked it.. tried prying on it.. no success. I even sprayed some anti rust fluid in the set screw hole. Just frustrated and want to get it out. Any ideas?
Had same trouble. finally used a small punch to drive shaft out. Used a couple of boards to set the fan on so I could drive it out without hurting or bending fan.
