I want to install heat strips on both of my a/c's. I have a 5 button control panel. As of now it does not show "heat strip" on the panel.When I
plug the heat strips in, will that power-up my contrl panel to show "heat strip. Or do I neww to purchase a new one. @003 Holiday Rambler- Vacationer
Heat strips are a secondary form of heat. In other words they should only come on if the heat pump can't generate enough heat. I need more specific info to better answer that question. It should work if properly wired.
