I bought a diagnostic code for my car (it cuts off while driving down the road) and the code says PO102 I have no idea, the book says MAF A LOW CIRCUIT INPUT I do not know what to do next! PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!! AMY
The next thing to do is check the wiring for the Mass AirFlow sensor (MAF). You should find it right around where the air filter is.
There was an identical problem with the '93/'94 model year Taurus and that turned out to be a bad plug connecting to the MAF sensor. I wouldn't be surprised if you found the same thing. When you locate the MAF sensor, remove the plug attaching the wires to it and look at the plug with a good light to see if it's rusty or the metal is cracked or chipped. That would indicate the problem is a bad plug.
